1. General
These terms apply to every sales contract concluded through threadzy.eu between the seller, THREADZY OÜ (details at the top of this page), and the customer. The customer may be a consumer (a private person buying for purposes outside their trade or profession) or a business.
Terms that are less favourable to a consumer than the law allows do not apply; the law applies instead.
2. Products and prices
We sell garments decorated by machine embroidery (hoodies, sweatshirts, quarter zips, t-shirts, polos) and emblems. Every product is made to the customer's own design.
Prices are in euros and final: the seller is not VAT-registered, so no VAT is added to the price. A consumer only ever pays the final total shown in the cart.
The price on a product page is the price per piece including one standard embroidery (up to 15 cm); it is the same from the first piece. The exact price is calculated in the designer from the garment, embroidery size, placement and quantity you choose, and is shown before you add the item to the cart. Orders under 25 pieces carry a digitising fee (€30) for making the embroidery program, shown next to the price. It is charged once per design: if you order the same design in several pieces (or on several garments) you pay for digitising once; different designs each need their own digitising. The same applies to gift items (pet, car or other personal picture): the €30 digitising fee applies per photo (once).
Quantity discount on the price per piece: 10+ pieces −5%, 25+ −10%, 50+ −15% (the digitising fee is not discounted). A bigger embroidery (over 15 cm) and extra placements cost more; the price is shown live in the designer.
Delivery cost is shown in the cart before you send the order request and is not included in the product price.
3. Ordering and when the contract is made
1) Design the product in the designer (or choose a gift item) and add it to the cart.
2) In the cart, check the product, quantity, price and delivery cost, and enter your details. A private customer pays the order right away on the LHV payment page; the "Proceed to checkout" button obliges you to pay. A business customer can choose "I will pay by invoice": the order is then placed without paying now (the "Send order request" button does not oblige you to pay) and we send an invoice.
3) We immediately email you an automatic confirmation (for a paid order: once the payment has arrived). Within one working day we send a mockup (a preview of the finished embroidery).
4) We do not start stitching until you have approved the mockup. If you cancel the order before stitching has started, we cancel it and refund the amount paid in full to the account you paid from. For an invoiced order the contract is made when you have approved the mockup and the final price and we have confirmed the order by email; until then you can cancel the request free of charge.
5) We start production after you approve the mockup and payment is received (for an invoiced business order: by the due date agreed on the invoice).
If the design is not suitable for stitching (too small, too detailed, etc.) we suggest a change. If we cannot agree, no contract is made and any amount paid is refunded.
The seller may refuse an order whose design infringes third-party rights or is unlawful, offensive or incites violence.
4. Payment
Private customers, and business customers who pay right away, pay when placing the order on the LHV payment page (bank link or card). A business customer who chooses "I will pay by invoice" pays by bank transfer against an invoice; we send the invoice after you approve the mockup; we start production once the payment has arrived (for business customers: by the due date agreed on the invoice). Late-payment interest may apply as provided by law.
5. Delivery
Goods are delivered to a parcel machine in Estonia only. Delivery to other countries by arrangement.
Production usually takes 7–10 working days from approval of the mockup and receipt of payment. Pre-Christmas order deadlines are on the FAQ page. We confirm the delivery time in the order confirmation.
Delivery cost depends on order size and is shown in the cart before you send the order request. The risk of accidental loss or damage passes to a consumer when they receive the goods.
Check the parcel on receipt and tell us about transport damage as soon as possible.
6. Right of withdrawal
A consumer normally has the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason. This right DOES NOT APPLY to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised. Every Threadzy product is embroidered with your own design, name or picture, so there is no right of withdrawal when you buy them. You confirm that you understand this in the cart before sending the order request.
Until you have approved the mockup and stitching has started, you can cancel the order free of charge; if you have already paid, we refund the amount in full. If production has already started, we can cancel only if it is still possible and will take the cost of work done into account.
If your contract covers goods that are not personalised, you may withdraw within 14 days from receiving the goods. Send us a clear statement at kontakt@threadzy.eu (you can use the model form on the "Delivery & returns" page). In that case the consumer pays the return cost. We refund what you paid, including the original delivery cost, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to business customers.
7. Claims and warranty
The seller is responsible for the goods conforming to the contract (e.g. the embroidery matches the approved mockup, the garment is intact, size and colour are correct). A consumer may make a claim for non-conformity within two years of delivery; the defect must be reported within a reasonable time, and by a consumer no later than 2 months after discovering it.
To make a claim, write to kontakt@threadzy.eu with the order number, a description of the defect and, if possible, a photo. We reply within 15 days.
For a defect you may demand repair or re-embroidery, replacement, a price reduction or withdrawal from the contract, as provided by law. We prefer to repair or remake the item free of charge.
The seller gives no additional warranty beyond what the law provides. Normal wear, damage from incorrect washing (see FAQ) and embroidery that matches the approved mockup are not defects.
8. Complaints
Send complaints or feedback to kontakt@threadzy.eu. The Threadzy management board is responsible for handling complaints; we reply in writing within 15 days and tell you how we will resolve the problem.
9. Designs, pictures and rights
As a customer you confirm that you have the right to upload and embroider your picture, logo or design and that it does not infringe third-party copyright, trademarks or other rights. You are responsible for claims a third party makes against us because of that design.
In gift items (pet, car, other) the picture shown in the designer is only a placeholder. The mockup you approve before production shows the final look. The ownership of the embroidery program (the digitised file) stays with the seller unless agreed otherwise.
10. Personal data
We process personal data as described in our privacy policy, on the "Privacy" page.
11. Dispute resolution
If you have a problem, please contact us first at kontakt@threadzy.eu so we can solve it together.
If we cannot agree, a consumer may turn to the Consumer Disputes Committee at the Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority (ttja.ee). The committee resolves contract disputes where the value is at least €30; the proceedings are free for both parties. A consumer may also go to court.
Estonian law applies to the relationship between the parties.
